Sowing the Seeds Program This year Kidz Fun Biz returned to some of the communities visited last year as well as to new communities, with their newly developed Sowing the Seeds Program. This program is designed to ‘sow the seeds’ of knowledge for community members to be able to make their own circus equipment and continue with skills development after Kidz Fun Biz have been and gone from the community. It also supplies fruit trees to the school and inspires the students to plant them on the schools grounds. The teachers then encourage the students to cooperate and take care of the plants, and strive towards healthier eating.

Miss Deb Visited England Wow, how amazed the Amazing Miss Deb was to play unicycle hockey and unicycle basketball at the British Unicylce convention in April. Miss Deb self-funded a 3 week trip to meet with over 200 other unicyclists in Kidderminster.Barn dancing on unicycles, mountain unicycling (or MUNI) unicycle jousting, unicycle cat and mouse, unicycle stuck in the mud, unicyle races and many other activities were also on the agenda. Graded on her unicycle skills Miss Deb achieved level 5 of the International Unicycle Federation levels. Miss Deb made a lot of new freinds in England and was lucky enough to go night riding with new friend Alan on a “Coker” (a unicycle with a HUGE wheel - they go fast, are hard to steer, and you DO NOT want to fall off one of these!). Miss Deb was the only Australian representative atthe convention and was welcomed by all.
She helped teach circus workshops in England and did TV interviews to promote the event.
Miss Deb also discoverd where unicycles come from - unicycle trees of course!

Twins Cause Chaos
Miss Kim (Miss Deb’s Twin) returned from Melbourne to join the Kidz Fun Biz (NT) team for some magical Christmas concerts. Those watching the concerts did not know there were ‘two Miss Debs’ so to speak and were utterly astounded at the Amazing Miss Debs magical abilities.
When finally Miss Deb & Miss Kim appeared at the same time there was chaos and confusion all round. Who is who - can you tell?

Miss Kim performed at the RAAF, Alyangula Recreation Club and Angurugu Community Education Centre.
